Microsoft Excel - Charting

Another find in reading Smart Computing Magazine - October 2008

A shortcut for creating charts when using Microsoft Excel.......

From your Excel spreadsheet, highlight data and press F11. A chart creates that you can then change according to your needs. A tool bar, to accommodate chart changes, should pop up on the page. If the tool bar doesn't pop up on it's own then, from the View Menu, select Toolbars then select Chart.

Computer: Compatability with Vista operating system

In reading Smart Computing Magazine, Oct 2008, I found a site for checking compatability with the Microsoft Vista operating system. You can check a variety of items including: computer hardware components, software, cameras, scanners, printers, gaming, etc. This site lets you know if the item is completely compatible or if an upgrade is needed (an where to get it) or different driver software is needed.
